So, I’m trying to figure out where I want to go in Europe when I’m done with my semester. I’d love any suggestions that you all might have about where to go. I’ve already got a list, but I want to hear where you think. Basically, if I came back and didn’t go somewhere, and you’d go “oh, you traveled around Europe and didn’t go to ___?!?”, I want to hear about it. Let me know in the comments, or if you’re having trouble with that, in an email, at aekro (at) conncoll (dot) edu. That’s how all the cool bloggers write their emails to avoid spam. Meh. Why not. BUT SEND ME YOUR SUGGESTIONS, if you please!
France. For one thing your cousins are half-French. For another, Paris is a beautiful city with lots of great museums.
When would you be traveling to these places? Boe will be going to Sweden, as usual, probably in June. Will you still be abroad?
Hi Alex,
I also recommend Denmark, Norway, Sweeden — all beautiful countries — with lovely people and Amsterdam which has one of my favorite museums in the world — the Van Gogh (I spent an entire day there)!

Yes, Paris of course, not only have your cousins lived there but it’s a beautiful city.
Amsterdam, I would agree, even though I’ve never been there, everyone and their dog has gone and has loved it.
Florence, Italy is another big favortie amongst all my friends.
And of course Barcelona Spain is one to be reconned with.
Those would be my 4 picks.
Hi Alex,
What kind of sight-seeing do you enjoy?
Take the high speed train where it will take you:
From London to Paris (4 hrs), then Amsterdam (4-5 hrs). From Amsterdam you can take a sleeper train to Copenhagen (11 hrs). From Copenhagen you can take a sleeper train to Stockholm.
Go to a travel agent and ask what the best railpass option would be for you. Make sure it allows high speed train.
Hug,
Stephanie
